LÖWE-Pfad

On the LÖWE trail on the outskirts of Wolfenbüttel, you will look in vain for cats of prey, but the nature adventure trail offers plenty of fun and excitement in the forest - for both young and old explorers.

LÖWE stands for Long-term Ecological Forest Development and on the 2.5-kilometre trail, you can listen, climb, feel, jump or make music.

Various stations provide knowledge about the forest and its inhabitants in a playful way. A forest xylophone invites you to make music, a woodpecker cave can be entered and the forest glasses provide exciting insights. From the cosy lounger, you can look into the trees and listen to the sounds of the forest. Balancing beams are waiting to be conquered and from the LÖWE tower, the treetops can be viewed up close. Finally, visitors can talk about their impressions and experiences on the tree telephone. The LÖWE forest adventure trail is great fun - a "tree nursery" in the truest sense of the word and without any bench-pressing.
