Einmal im Jahr werden Preisträgerinnen und Preisträger des Bundeswettbewerbs „Jugend musiziert“ und vergleichbarer europäischer Wettbewerbe von den Experten des renommierten Ensemble Modern geschult.
Die Ergebnisse werden in einem Abschlusskonzert präsentiert.
Das Programm umfasst Ensemblewerke und Kammermusik der zeitgenössischen Musik. Es spielen und moderieren die Teilnehmenden des Meisterkurses unter Leitung des Dirigenten Martin Brauß.
Der Meisterkurs epoche f wird durchgeführt von der Internationalen Ensemble Modern Akademie (IEMA) in Trägerschaft der Landesmusikakademie sowie in Kooperation mit der European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY) und der Stiftung „Jugend musiziert Niedersachen“.
